The Client: A Brooklyn, NY-based leading women's clothing retailer with over 690 stores across the US.

Client Need: This client needed to upgrade the shipping system at their existing distribution center to expand into an adjacent space to allow for their increased volumes. The upgrade would also allow for in-motion manifesting and EDI to take place so that more favorable shipping rates could be realized.

Solutions: AL Systems provided the DynaShip manifesting system to operate in-motion and static manifesting. DynaShip integrated with FedEx' latest Ship Manager software to complete all necessary rating and EDI tasks. In addition, AL's DynaTrack system controlled the newly installed conveyor system for sortation to both the FedEx Hub centers and LTL carriers.

Results: This client delivers 9-12K cartons per day to its stores. They are able to complete a store carton, transmit content information to its host and deliver destination information to DynaShip in real-time as the carton travels from packing to shipping.
