Men’s Wearhouse Selects Long-Time Vendor AL Systems to Support Growth Plan With Expansion and Upgrade of Existing DynaPack Light-Directed Putting Solution
Rockaway, NJ – June 14, 2004 - AL Systems, Inc., a provider of integrated solutions that improve the flow of merchandise through distribution centers, announced today that Men's Wearhouse , one of North America's largest specialty retailers of men's apparel with 696 stores , has selected AL Systems to expand and upgrade their existing light-directed putting solution.
The expansion and upgraded solution will provide Men's Wearhouse with the latest self-diagnostic and re-configurable light display hardware. In addition, the upgrade will provide Men's Wearhouse with browser-based interfaces that enable advanced load balancing and resource optimization planning and (secure) remote access to supervisor screens and a multitude of reports that can be printed, e-mailed or exported.
AL Systems has provided Men's Wearhouse with innovative technology solutions to productively and accurately fulfill store orders for many years. A light-directed putting solution enables retailers to pick and "put” merchandise to store orders productively and accurately, decreasing labor costs and reducing inventory, real estate and markdowns.
