AL Systems COO participates as Expert Panelist at Material Handling event

The event covered publishing giant Simon & Schuster’s Warehouse Control System revamp and Voice Picking implementation at their Riverside, NJ distribution center.

Mark Kushner is the leader of project management, software development, product management, engineering, customer service and production at AL Systems, and was instrumental in designing and implementing this solution at Simon & Schuster that helps them save $5 million annually. “MHSNJ does a terrific job of bringing together industry leaders to discuss best practices” said Mark Kushner. “I am honored and privileged to participate in this event.”

The event began with a keynote presentation by Dave Schaeffer, VP of Distribution and Fulfillment, Simon & Schuster, followed by a tour of their distribution center and a panel discussion. Other reputable companies that participated in this event included Manhattan Associates, Voxware, and LXE.
